objectivesThe Advanced Asbestos Awareness for Construction course from OSHA Education School is a certificate-level online course designed specifically to meet the annual OSHA and Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) regulatory requirements in one easy-to-digest course. Participants of the course will receive site-specific asbestos awareness information designed specifically for the construction industry.
The course focuses on areas in which asbestos-containing materials (ACM) or presumed asbestos-containing materials (PACM) might be present. This asbestos awareness training is required upon initial assignment and is ideal for those who may come in contact with ACM or PACM but do not interact with such materials during their work activities (designated as Class IV operations).
NOTICE: Workers whose job functions may result in the interaction or disturbance of ACM or PACM must undergo additional training.
OSHA Education School’s Advanced Asbestos Awareness for Construction online training course focuses primarily on the hazards associated with asbestos in the workplace. All those who conduct asbestos abatement operations, in most cases, must be licensed by a state or federal agency. As such, this course is designed to provide information from OSHA’s Safety and Health Topics – Asbestos, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as well as OSHA and state OSHA programs.

You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA 2 training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Advanced Asbestos Awareness For Construction and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA 2 card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
