descriptionThe Advanced Asbestos Awareness for Construction course is a certificate-level online course designed to fulfil the yearly OSHA and Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) regulatory requirements in a single, easy-to-understand course. The training will provide participants with site-specific asbestos awareness material tailored to the construction sector. The training will concentrate on locations that may contain asbestos-containing materials (ACM) or suspected asbestos-containing materials (PACM). This asbestos awareness course is needed upon assignment and is appropriate for people who may come into contact with ACM or PACM but do not operate with such products (designated as Class IV operations). Additional training is required for employees whose job activities may result in the interaction or disruption of ACM or PACM. Advanced Asbestos Awareness for Construction is an online training course that focuses on the dangers of asbestos in the workplace. In most situations, people who undertake asbestos abatement activities must get a license from a state or federal government.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA 2 training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Advanced Asbestos Awareness For General Industry and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA 2 card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
