Due to the fact that the state of California requires companies to adopt an injury and illness prevention program, this course offers participants with the required resources for an onsite injury and illness prevention program (IIPP). This includes the development and maintenance of a comprehensive written safety and health program. Title 8, California Code of Regulations, Sections 3203 for General Industry and 1509 for Construction, as well as the User's Guide to Cal/OSHA, are addressed in this course. Cal IIPP Awareness for Construction is an online course that covers California statutory standards for a site-wide IIPP meant to promote worker safety and health.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Cal IIPP For Construction and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
