OSHA Education School’s Cal Personal Protective Equipment awareness course teaches participants how to determine which PPE is required to perform specific jobsite tasks. Participants will learn about Cal/OSHA legal requirements governing PPE, established to ensure safety to the highest degree in the workplace. Specific course topics include the following:

Protective equipment covered by this policy may include, but is not limited to, hard hats, protective eyewear, hearing protection, protected gloves, protective footwear, and appropriate clothes. Participants can anticipate learning material geared to safeguard employees against potential occupational dangers that could result in disease or harm. Additionally, participants will learn how to evaluate equipment for problems and determine when it is time to replace it.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Cal Personal Protective Equipment Awareness For Construction and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
