The Digital Basics Awareness course teaches the fundamentals of computer work and security for all participants.
The Digital Basics Awareness course from OSHA Education School highlights the fundamentals of using a computer in the workplace, as well as the functions, components, resources, proper networking, and security measures. Specific course topics include the following:
Straightforward definitions and real-world examples
Brief explanations of computing history
Step-by-step instructions on how to operate a computer helpful tips on using applications and keyboard shortcuts
Knowledge checks throughout to measure your understanding
descriptionThe purpose of the Digital Basics Awareness course is to emphasize the significance of computers in the workplace and how they pervade virtually every aspect of everyday life. Understanding how to utilize computers successfully in the office is critical for all levels of employment. This includes data sharing, email communication, and performing everyday chores. The Digital Basics Awareness course teaches all participants the basics of computer use and security. The Digital Basics Awareness training covers the basics of workplace computer use, including functions, components, resources, appropriate networking, and security measures.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Digital Basics Awareness and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
