The Flagger Safety – Construction Work Zones Toolbox Talk from OSHA Education School is an introductory-level training which participants will discuss and work through the nature of flagger safety in construction work zones. More than 160 people are injured or killed every day from crashes in and around construction work zones, and it’s important to note that work zone flaggers remain the first line of defense for road construction workers and public protection in such scenarios.
In this course, participants will listen as Pete Rice, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), reviews construction work zone flagger safety, lending insight to this critical and dangerous job. Participants can expect to review crash zone statistics, as well as essential training required to become a flagger. Specific emphasis will be placed on California OSHA standards for work zone flaggers.descriptionoutlineBenefits
