The course will address in full OSHA's new Globally Harmonized System (GHS) hazard categorization criteria, as well as safety data sheets and product labels. This course, which was developed straight from OSHA's Hazard Communication (HazCom) standards as defined in the updated OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), is designed to guarantee that all participants satisfy their fundamental hazard communication training obligations. We recommend that all supervisors and managers additionally complete the online Hazard Communication Advanced for All Industries course, which gives a comprehensive overview and introduction to the appropriate OSHA HazCom standard.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA 1 training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Hazard Communication For Managers And Supervisors (HazCom/GHS) and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA 1 card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants can expect to be able to do the following:
Describe the supervisory responsibilities for providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions for employees in regard to hazardous chemicals.
