OSHA Education School’s Hazardous Materials Awareness course is a 60-minute introductory-level training designed to help Manufacturing employees identify, evaluate, and control workplace dangers associated with hazardous materials. Specific course topics include the following:

descriptionThe Hazardous Material Awareness course from was created especially for manufacturing industry workers. Participants in this course may expect to learn how to identify several kinds of hazardous chemicals, as well as the associated hazards. In 2018, the National Safety Council (NSC) recorded more than 4,000 occupational fatalities. The 60-minute Hazardous Material Awareness Training teaches participants how to minimize physical and health hazards associated with working with hazardous materials, as well as how to take personal responsibility for anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling such materials in the workplace.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Hazardous Material Awareness For Manufacturing and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
