descriptionThe OSHA Heat Sickness Prevention for Workers in General Industry online training is intended for workers and supervisors in all industries who may be exposed to or at risk of heat illness and injury on the job. The training is intended to educate participants with the fundamentals of heat sickness, its symptoms, and how to minimize risks and injuries. While there are no federal requirements for preventing heat sickness, the OSHA General Duty Clause (OSH Act of 1975 Sec.5 Duties) requires that each employer offer a workplace free of all recognized dangers, including risks of heat disease.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this OSHA Heat Illness Prevention For Workers For General Industry and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
