The Power Tool Use and Guarding for Construction Safety course is an intermediate-level online course in which participants will learn proper hand and power tool safety procedures as prescribed by OSHA, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) (NIOSH). Participants will study correct technique for using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as case studies emphasizing risks and necessary precautions. Additionally, the training covers safe work procedures. The online training course Power Tool Use and Guarding for Construction discusses the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when using various hand and power tools.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
