objectivesThe Tailgate Meeting Criteria Toolbox Talk from OSHA Education School is an introductory-level training in which Pete Rice, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP), discusses the importance of holding daily and/or weekly tailgates or toolbox talk safety meetings on the jobsite. Participants will learn the reasoning behind these meetings and how they may contribute positive environmental changes in the workplace, including accident prevention, reduced jobsite risk, and ensuring all workers hold themselves and others accountable to safety to the highest degree.
descriptionThe Tailgate Meeting Criteria Toolbox Talk is an introductory-level training in which Pete Rice, a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), explains the significance of daily and/or weekly tailgates or toolbox talks on the worksite. The purpose of these meetings will be explained, as well as how they may contribute to beneficial environmental improvements in the workplace, such as accident prevention, decreased worksite risk, and ensuring that all employees hold themselves and others to the highest standards of safety.
You must score at least 70% to pass this OSHA training. You will be given up to THREE opportunities to pass the quizzes and final exam.
Failure to pass quizzes and the final exam will result in being locked out of this online training program, but the learner can repurchase and start back from the beginning.
Upon completing this Tailgate Meeting Criteria Toolbox Talk and the accompanying survey, you will receive an OSHA card from the provider of this OSHA training on behalf of the Department of Labor.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
